National Appointments
These are some of my national responsibilities:
- Chairman of the Board of Directors of LACORS (Local Authorities Co-ordinators of Regulatory Services).
- Member of the Board of the Gangmasters' Licensing Authority.
- Member of the Board of PASS (The National Proof of Age Standards Scheme).
- Member of the Strategy & Finance Policy Review Group of the Local Government Association.
- Member of the Improvement Board of the Local Government Association.
- Member of the Executive of the Local Government Association Conservative Group.
Recent previous roles:
- Chairman of the Cultural Services Executive of the Local Government Association until August 2004.
- Member of the Board of the Conservative Councillors Association until March 2005.
- Conservative Spokesman for Tourism and Fire on the Local Government Association.
