Patcham
Patcham Ward has 10,500 electors. To the west the main London to Brighton railway line is the boundary and thus Patcham includes the A23 London to Brighton Road. To the south, Peacock Lane and Surrenden Road form the boundary, to the east, the Ditchling Road and to the north the City boundary with Mid Sussex District Council in West Sussex.
The Ward includes the Patcham village conservation area with its ancient church, the Brangwyn and Mackie estates, Hollingbury and the Hollingbury Trading Estate. Schools situated in the Ward are Patcham High, Junior and Infant, Patcham House School, Carden Primary and the Dharma School. Parks include Patcham Place, Withdean, Carden, Mackie, Horsdean, Braypool and the Ladies Mile Open Space nature reserve.
