There is a possible proposal coming forward to develop the area known as 'Land West of Redhill Close' formally known as 'Redhill Sports Field'.

You may have attended the exhibition at the Church of the Ascension Church Hall towards the end of 2009 regarding the above proposal and discussed the possible project with the owner's representative and/or the developers.

If you did you will recall that an outline planning application was was being discussed but at that time an official planning application had not been lodged with Brighton and Hove Council Planning Department. At that time the developer's ideas included open space, nature reserve, tree screening and an area of mixed housing of possibly houses and flats. No detail on the actual numbers of flats and houses or their design and layout were given so if an outline planning application were to be lodged and eventually approved there could be no indication of how the built up area would turn out, let alone the implications of extra vehicular movements and car parking etc except that vehicular access was intended to be via Redhill Close.
