My Ward
Westbourne Ward comprises the lions share of Poets Corner (from the western side of Sackville Road to the eastern side of Tamworth Road) and the seafront area to the south of Portland Road from Sackville Road/Hove Street to Hogarth Road/Braemore Road.
The Ward contains Aldrington Halt station in the North, many churches of all denominations in Poets Corner and south of Portland Road. Hove Museum with the famous Jaipur Gate is located on New Church Road and the seafront area, with the Hove and Kingsway Bowling Club on the lawns, runs along the southern boundary of the Ward.
Westbourne Ward has excellent shopping with indvidual shops in Portland Road and Richardson Road with supermarkets a short walk or bus ride away.
Major east/west through roads such as the Kingsway, New Church Road and Portland Road run through the Ward and the area is served well by local bus services...
