Free health checks in the community
Today I took advantage of a free NHS health check at Brighton Town Hall to help publicise the service aimed at reducing strokes, heart disease and diabetes.
Even if you feel well it's worth taking 40 minutes to get a health MOT - the community nurse will talk through the tests and results with you and suggest ways forward. They will liaise with your GP if needed and can come to a venue near you to carry out the checks.
